SUMMARY OF MARKET RULES


Please note this summary does not replace the full Standard terms & Conditions by which you are bound

Permanent Traders:

  1. must keep their rent two weeks in advance
  2. must attend all markets and pay the rent, rain or shine
  3. must claim their pitch in the first half hour of the market
  4. can recover their bond only by giving two weeks notice in writing to mail@organicfoodmarkets.com.au and then not paying rent for those two weeks

Casual Traders:

  1. must pay before setting up
  2. cannot enter the market during the first half hour
  3. must pay a $10 casuals' premium
  4. must wait for the Market Manager to show them where to set them up



IF YOU BRING YOUR VEHICLE ONTO ANY OF OUR MARKETS BEFORE CLOSING TIME OR PACK UP EARLY WITHOUT THE MARKET MANAGERS CONSENT DON'T BOTHER COMING BACK!

Vehicles

Vehicles should not travel any faster than 5k an hour and should have their hazard lights flashing when traveling on the market site.

Food Vendors

  1. Ensure you display a conventional or organic sign as appropriate.
  2. Advise your customers to take perishable food home promptly and remind them it can become warm if kept at the market for any extended period.
  3. Any perishable food must be keep in a cool place at under 5 degrees centigrade together with a thermometer to test the temperature.
